Services Information
Aire will be nbnTM enabled
At Aire, we’re working with NBN Co to ensure that you have access to the nbn™ from the day you move into your new home. Learn more today about how you can access these services below and contact your builder to make sure your new home is connected.
By being nbn™ ready, Aire provides Fibre to the Premises (FTTP) which gives you the opportunity to create a connected environment that helps make the most of services over the nbn™ broadband access network. nbn™ is a wholesale-only network. There are more than one hundred phone and internet providers selling services over the nbn™ access network, including some of Australia’s largest operators, which helps enable you to choose a provider that best suits your needs.
Talk with your builder and ask if they have applied to connect to the nbn™ access network. For more information about connecting the NBN to your new home, view the guides provided by NBN Co or talk with your builder.
Please note: Parts of the new connection process will vary across the various service providers. This article only gives an overview of the process. Please speak with your builder and service providers for further information about this process.
Your power to choose
Aire is a Natural Gas Estate, giving homeowners the freedom to select the energy sources and appliances that perfectly fit their needs when designing their dream home.
Depending on the natural gas appliances you select, some solar may be required to meet the new 7 star building code. Talk to your builder for tailored advice.
Continuous flow hot water
Cold showers are a thing of the past with a continuous flow hot water system. And since hot water accounts for up to a third of home energy bills, heating water only when it's needed is also highly efficient.
Precise temperature control
You can rely on natural gas to cook up a storm, even when the power fails. Natural gas offers instant heat, and large burners can deliver fast, authentic results for stirfries and grilling meat.

Choosing natural gas for your new home
Step 1
Let your builder know your appliance preferences. This helps determine meter size and energy allowance for the new 7 star building code.
Step 2
Your builder will facilitate the gas connection for you. If you’re an owner-builder, simply contact APA on 1300 001 001 to order a gas service line. We recommend you provide 3 to 6 months’ notice to allow for Council permits.
Step 3
As your build nears completion, contact your chosen energy retailer to arrange a gas meter and open a gas billing account. If your builder has already arranged the gas meter, simply transfer the gas account into your name.
Step 4
